Fourth graders have been busy. They participated in Red Ribbon Week, Pumpkin STEM investigations, multiplying by 10, 100, 1000, and rounding calculations and comparing group measurements. They also had fun at the Evans Fall Festival.

Students also learned about the scientific method and completed an experiment on "How a Secret Message Can Be Revealed." A chemical reaction in an acid of grape juice and water/baking soda mixture revealed secret messages written! How cool is that? Sprite and vinegar did not.

They also determined who will represent fourth grade in the school spelling bee and did a Thanksgiving STEM activity of creating a hideout for a turkey! Way to go, fabulous fourth graders!
